Since 2008, Sign of Hope has been waging a David vs. Goliath campaign against the poisoning of South Sudan’s water, lives, politics and the environment by Big Oil and its allies in the South Sudanese government (and in world business). Here are the faces of some of the nearly 200,000 victims of this poisoning – which is set to be ramped up by the pending expansion of oil production in South Sudan.
Each of these persons has been proved – via samples of their hair – to be riddled with heavy metals and other contaminants.
